This little beauty has been out of stock for so long since Zoella mentioned it in her August favourites so I was so happy when I managed to find it in Boots – they only had about 3 left as well! I snapped it up immediately, even though I was little peeved about paying £3.99 opposed to the £2.79 it is on offer for at Superdrug, but I kept checking and it was out of stock every time and the same with the website, so I didn’t want to risk it selling out again!
In Zoella’s video she has the contour kit applied and it does look amazing on her so I couldn’t wait to give it a go.
I’ve tried it for a few days in a row now and I am very impressed. The pan is huge so it will last ages so it’s value for money (even if I did get it from the more expensive shop).
The pigmentation of the contour side is build-able which is perfect to go from a day to night look as you can layer more on if you need it whilst keeping it subtle in the day. It’s super blend-able as well.
The highlighter is lovely and again you can build it up but you really don’t need much for it to shine through. It looks really glittery in the pan but it doesn’t have this effect when it’s applied.
This was taken in the morning before work so I wanted my coverage to be subtle – you can really see the highlight here
The packaging is plain yet effective and looks nice and modern and definitely doesn’t look as cheap as it costs.
It even has a photo diagram on the back showing you where to apply the contour and the highlight.
It is pretty long lasting as well – it was still in tact after a full day at work!
I am pretty impressed with this especially seeing as how large the pans are and it’s long staying power.
It still seems to be in Stock on Boots.com here – the £3.99 is an introductory price but it only goes up 20p once the offer has ended so it’s still a bargain price for a big contour kit like this!
Has anyone else managed to get their hands on this? What do you think?
