Lush Oxford Street Haul

lush oxford street haul

When I walked into lush Oxford street I was like a kid in a candy store the shop is HUGE!! its so much bigger than my local store in Nottingham. For those of you that haven’t been it spans over 3 floors and they even have a spa! And there are so many staff on hand to help you.

I was greeted by a very enthusiastic assistant who went round the whole shop and showed me pretty much everything including a few Oxford Street exclusives.

She washed my hands with so many shampoos and conditioners and shower gels and face masks and all sorts of samples and gave me a few cheeky samples to try!

I had to narrow my purchases right now which was soo hard! I didn’t get many OS exclusives if any (I can’t remember for sure I was rather overwhelmed by all the stuff!) but anywho here’s what I got in my haul –

Mask of Magnaminty

This mask is amazing! You can use it for your face and your body. The shop assistant showed me a couple of different masks and this was by far my fave! It makes your skin feel super refreshed as it feels so cooling on your skin. My skin felt amazing after and it’s kept my spots at bay all week! I was advised to leave it on for 20 minutes so I applied it whilst I was in the bath and had a proper good pamper and relaxation session. Would definitely recommend!

Damaged hair hot oil treatment

This is super cool – it starts off tiny you put it into the microwave and heat it up and it expands to make a huge mug full of treatment!

The assistant said this one would be best for my thick frizzy hair.  You’re supposed to use the whole thing and leave it on for 20 minutes no cling film required but the assistant said she leaves hers on for an hour with a cling film wrap so I’ll just see how I feel at the time as to how long I leave it for! So excited to try this!

Waves bar shampoo

This is one of the ones that really intrigued me- it’s a shampoo in a bar! You use the bar and move it over your hair to get the lather and then had your fingers to rub it in! This is meant to be good for frizzy hair and seeing as that’s one of my main qualms with my hair I’m super excited to give this a go and I have high hopes!

It’s meant to last a while too. It’s more than I’d usually spend on shampoo so in hoping it works! I will definitely do a proper blog post  on this when I’ve used it.

Mint Julips lip scrub

Since getting their bubblegum scrub for my birthday I’m hooked – these things are amazing! The scrub has tiny particles so they properly exfoliate your lips and it only takes two seconds in the morning to follow.

They really make a difference an applying lipstick as it makes for such a smooth application. And not to mention the fact that they smell amazing (also taste if you happen to get a tiny bit in your mouth by accident! Oops!)

Frozen bath bomb

I love the film frozen so super excited for this! I haven’t opened it yet as I want to keep it fresh for my bath so when I use I’ll do a blog post on it so watch this space!

Samples

I got a sample of their RnB which is a serum for frizzy hair which apparently lasts ages so if this works I’ll definitely buy it in full!

I also got a sample of American Cream which is apparently their most popular conditioner which is meant to be really good and compliments the waves bar but they didn’t have a full price one so I just had a sample for now.

Has anyone else bought anything interesting from lush recently? Has anyone tried any of these products? Let me know what you thought!

Thanks for reading!

  1. This is a lovely haul! I’ve only just started using lush products and I’m keen to try more. I agree Mask of Magnaminty is amazing – it reminds me of a dermalogica mask I used to use but it’s half the price. How did you find the hot oil treatment?

So glad I came across your blog, really enjoying browsing through your posts 🙂
