H&M beauty haul

When I heard H&M were bringing out a proper beauty range I was super excited to see what they would produce and I wasn’t disappointed!

They have SO many different products in a huge array of colours – they’ve really pushed the boat out!

When I visited my local store I was a bit overwhelmed with the choice and the stands look amazing.

Also how pretty is the beauty bag they give you with your purchases?! I love the monochrome and gold design.

I eventually chose three items (I tried not to go overboard) – a lipstick, a lip liner and an eye shadow pencil.

Creme lip colour in Heirloom

The lipstick on the stand didn’t have a lid on for testing and I was immediately drawn to the gold packaging – hello Charlotte Tilbury dupe! – but when I got it home and out the box it had a white lid on it and I was so disappointed it wasn’t gold all over!

Nonetheless the lipstick is a fairly dark purple colour and it’s creamy and quite matte as you can see from the swatch.

It lasts a fair while but it can be a bit drying so use lots of scrub before applying this! It’s pigmented and applies dark so needs applying sparingly if you don’t want it too dark on your lips.

Lip definer in Cherry Tart

This has a nice big point on the end and is really nice and creamy. It applies easily with no pulling. You can see from the swatch it matches my new lipstick almost perfectly.

However it doesn’t last too long and if the lipstick comes off so does the lip liner! So whilst it’s cheap it’s staying power isn’t great.

Eye Colour to go in Treasure Hunt

This is a gorgeous khaki dark gold mix and it looks gorgeous blended over the lids and under the eyes.

It glides on really smoothly but it does need a bit of blending with a brush but this is done so easily it doesn’t matter!

It’s a nice mix between glittery and shimmery and I love this colour for the festive season.

It lasts ages on the lids too – it successfully survived a night out!  The swatch really doesn’t do it justice. I tried to take a photo of it on my night out but as it is dark early I wasn’t able to get any decent photographs!

Have you tried any of these from H&M? What did you think? Let me know below!
