Festive Christmas Lip Picks

With Christmas just around the corner I’m so excited to be wearing festive makeup and for me lipstick completes the ultimate festive look!

These are my faves this year:

Prep

Always start with a lip scrub to smooth the lips out before applying lipstick. I love Lush Santa’s lip scrub for the festive season! It leaves your lips silky soft and primed and ready.

Don’t forget the lip liner for long wear and neat lips all night long!

For the Christmas party

This Barry M Lip Stain Paint in Absolute Burgundy is a deep red with a matte finish so it’s perfect for Christmas parties! It’s long lasting and a gorgeous festive colour which is different to your typical bright red. Who doesn’t love a red lipstick?! Plus the packaging is gorgeous and very Christmassy!

For Christmas Day

I love this MAC Frost lipstick in New York Apple. It’s a berry based red with a shimmery finish that is subtle enough to not look too glittery and the colour is very buildable! It’s perfect for Christmas day because its not too in your face and still so festive! You can’t beat a bit of shimmer at Christmas!

What are your favourite lipsticks for the festive season? Let me know below!

  1. Those lip colors look fantastic – I’d love to get my hands on that Barry M one. I still have yet to try a Lush lip scrub!

    1. It really does yeah it’s amazing! Although I have to admit I expected it to take chrismassy lol like cranberry or cinnamon or something! Ooh it’s gorgeous I bought it in New York but you can get it in the UK too so I imagine you can get it in Canada? It’s gorgeous!
