Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Review

So this is a new mascara launch for Maybelline that has been advertised by the rising force that is Gigi Hagid.

It promises to look better than false lashes so when I saw it on sale in Boots for the introductory price of £5.99 I couldn’t resist. It also helped the packaging was pink and red and shiny!

I have heard mixed reviews about this mascara so I was intrigued to give it a go myself.

The brush to this mascara is plastic and quite thin with small bristles dotted around quite sparingly.

When I tried this for the first time I have to say I was very impressed! It really lengthens lashes and adds volume to at the same time which is hard to find in a mascara I think as they tend to do one or the other. After trialling it for the past week or so it continued to perform just as well as it did the first time!

This one is a proper multi-tasker and it doesn’t clump or make lashes look spidery even after a few coats. I often use one mascara for separation and length and one to add volume afterwards but with this I only need one to do it all!

Some people have been saying the formula is quite wet but I haven’t find it’s any more so than other mascaras and I always do a couple of layers letting it dry in between so this isn’t an issue I’ve noticed.

The wand, even though the bristles aren’t directly on the ends, I find reach each corner of the lashes and you can really catch every single lash.

It takes a couple of wipes to get it off at the end of the day but this doesn’t bother me as it isn’t much longer to remove than other mascaras I’ve used.

So in summary I absolutely love this! It does everything I want from a mascara and for such a good price tag even once the introductory offer ends.

Fab work Maybelline! I will definitely re-purchase again once this one has finished.

Have you tried this mascara yet? What did you think? Let me know below!
