May Favourites

It’s favourites time once again! May hasn’t been as sunny as we all know/hope May to be as the weather has been so hit and miss and it’s actually been quite cold a couple of days!

This month it seems that I’ve been loving a lot of makeup products which is different for me as my favourites are usually quite varied! So here’s what I’ve enjoyed this month –

From left to right – Zoella Lets Spritz Fragranced Body Mist, Soap and Glory The Daily Double Eye Liner, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet, Collection Eyes Uncovered in Nude Rose, Revlon Colourstay Foundation, Revlon 3d Volume Mascara.

Zoella Lets Spritz Fragranced Body Mist

This is obviously her old one now but I got it for Christmas and have only just started spraying it, as it’s scent is Tutti Fruit it’s a very spring/summer scent so I begun reaching for this when Spring arrived (or tried). It’s a gorgeous scent and it is stronger than your average body spray. I love the elegant lace pattern on the beautiful glass bottle.

Soap and Glory The Daily Double

This is a double ended eye liner containing a nude lid shadow and a brown eye liner. This has been perfect for my everyday subtle work look as it’s a lot less in your face than black eyeliner. The lid shadow stays in place all day and the eyeliner end glides on really smoothly for a lovely look. If you make a mistake with the liner just use the lid shadow to correct any mistakes!

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in No. 10 Don’t Pink Of It!

This is a matte liquid lipstick and it’s seriously amazing. I’ve been reaching for this so much as it’s  a gorgeous spring colour and my does it last! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a smooth long lasting liquid lipstick with a matte finish.

Collection Eyes Uncovered in Nude Rose

I reviewed this palette here so follow the link for swatches and full review but in summary this is the perfect spring palette with gorgeous shimmery shades that don’t have any fall out and are really pretty! You can create a whole look with this palette as there is a highlight shade included! Love this budget palette at only £3.99 it feels much more expensive!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation

This is something I’ve been using a lot recently when I’ve been going out.  It stays put with primer and has a gorgeous semi matte finish.

Revlon 3d Volume Mascara

Another Revlon product! This has a plastic wand with small bristles which extend to the end so you can get the inner corners. It separates and lengthens so well, I’m thinking dupe alert for Benefit They’re Real! Watch this space.

I’ve also been loving the Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar for my baths this month. It makes a gorgeous pink bath with lots of snow fairy scented bubbles and you can get a good 4/5 baths out of one bar! Just swirl it around the watch the bubbles expand.

This month’s Glamour Mag has also been a fab read and a bargain at only £1 I’ve been reading it in the bath to chill out.

What have you been loving this month? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know below!

Thank you so much for reading!
