June Empties // Product Reviews

The end of another month means it’s time for another review of all of the empty products I’ve used up this month.

I’ve had another good haul of empties with a nice variety to talk you through.

Left to right – Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner, LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub, Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Nuxe Anti Stress Moisturising Cream, Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity Vitamin C Facial Wash, Loreal Skin Perfection Micella Gel Sensitive Eye Makeup Remover

Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner

I got this product in a Glossybox sometime this year and I’ve been slowly using it up since. Whenever I’ve used this my hair hasn’t been smoothed down nor has it been given nice volume it’s just gone frizzy really. I’ve used it on days when I’ve just shoved my hair up rather than done it properly and made it look nice. I can’t really tell whether it’s protected my hair. The one good thing about this mask is that it used natural ingredients.

Would I repurchase this?

No I wouldn’t waste my money on this it did nothing for me.

LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub

As you probably know, I don’t hide my love for LUSH lip scrubs. These babies are the best thing in my routine for keeping lips super smooth and priming them for lipstick application. Mint Julips tastes like mint chocolate and it’s super tasty and refreshing in the morning!

Would I repurchase this?

I think we already know the answer to this one! I’m currently using Bubblegum flavour I’m slowly making my way through all the different flavours!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I had this cute sample size of the Cleanse and Polish and oh my how amazing is this! This is hyped about in the blogging community for good reason. It feels like a luxurious spa treatment due to the soft creamy formula and the scent reminds me of those used in spas. It takes your makeup off like a dream using the muslin cloth its so soft and gentle on your skin.

Would I repurchase this?

Despite that it’s quite expensive, I would buy this for use on really makeup heavy days or as a treat and a little bit of a pamper!

Nuxe Anti Stress Moisturising Cream

This sample size was part of a Love Me Beauty order so I chose this. It is a nice moisturiser with a pleasant scent and a nice texture and thickness. I’m not sure whether it helped with “anti-stress” but it was nice to use.

Would I repurchase this?

Probably not due to the price, perhaps if it was a bit cheaper (it’s about £21)

Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity Vitamin C Facial Wash

This is the old packaging which I picked up on clearance when the new packaging came into Boots. This is a facial wash in a gel formula with pink exfoliating beads. Usually exfoliating beads are too harsh for my skin but these beads are so soft and don’t feel hard on the skin at all. After using this facewash my skin feels super refreshed and clean it’s lovely.

Would I repurchase this?

Yes I would, it’s £8 so I would wait until S & G was on offer but I will get it again.

Loreal Skin Perfection Micella Gel Sensitive Eye Makeup Remover

Now I struggle to find eye makeup removers that suit my skin as most are too harsh for me and make my eyes sting. This one however is the ONLY one I’ve found that fits the bill perfectly. It’s a gel formula so it doesn’t drip and it’s so gentle it doesn’t sting at all. It removes eye makeup beautifully leaving my eyes feeling refreshed.

Would I repurchase this?

Over and over again! It’s the perfect eye makeup remover if you have sensitive eyes and believe me I have tried them all!

So that’s my haul of empties for this month! Have you tried any of these? What did you think? Let me know below!

Thanks for reading!
