Benefit Ready Set Brow Gel Review

Benefit are killing it with their magazine freebies! First the Goof Proof Brow Pencil in Elle mag and now the Ready Set Brow Gel in Marie Claire Magazine!

I just love that Benefit are allowing fans to try their products out in a rather generous sample size before committing to buy the full size. And they haven’t skimped out on the samplin’!

This little cutie is a clear brow gel used to set brows into shape using a plastic brush.

PACKAGING

First of all we need to talk about this packaging, once again Benefit have knocked it out of the park with this one, how frickin’ gorgeous is this tube?! Definite permanent dressing table status right there.

APPLICATION

This applies with a plastic comb brush not dissimilar to the They’re Real mascara brushes. Every other brow gel I’ve experienced has used a bristle brush in a rounded form whereas this one is squared off. It really coats the brow hairs well and brushes them out evenly.

FORMULA

This is not a thick or gloopy formula but it’s very stubborn as it sets and dries well and does not budge! Use it AFTER you’ve applied your brow pencil as it makes it harder to pencil once you’ve applied it.

OVERALL

This is a great eyebrow gel unlike any I’ve experience before and it really sets brows in place. Honestly if I could afford to buy the full size for £18.50 I would but I just  can’t afford that much on a brow gel! I love the whole collection but it’s too pricey for me.

What do you think to the Benefit brow collection? Let me know below!
