July Favourites

Like for reals how it is the end of July already!? Summer time is officially upon us and we have actually had a bit of sunshine but now it’s mis again so looks like summer is over.

It’s been a helluva month this month, I got my Masters results and me and the boy have got the keys to our first little home together and its also been his birthday so it’s been a mega hectic 4 weeks!

But amidst all of the chaos I’ve still had time to try out new products and reconnect with some oldies and I have collected another bunch of faves for you.

From left to right – Urban Decay AfterGlow 8 Hour Highlight in Fireball, Real Techniques Blending Sponge, Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 3, Revlon Ultra Matte HD in Flirt, Morphe M510 Pro Round Blender Brush, Benefit Ready Set Brow, Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Nude Foundation.

Urban Decay AfterGlow 8 Hour Highlight in Fireball

This is one of the prettiest highlighters I’ve ever owned and I am in awe of it! It is a gorgeous pink peach shimmery highlight that gives a perfect summer glow!

Real Techniques Blending Sponge

I’ve been reaching for this way more to blend my whole face with recently and it does a fab job of creating a flawless look when damp.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 3

I’ve been loving this palette for the pinks and the rose gold shade for a pink summer look. The shimmer shades are buttery and long lasting and the palette is super cheap at £4!

Revlon Ultra Matte HD in Flirt

No surprise a matte liquid lipstick has made it’s way into the faves! I love this colour for summer and I’ve been reaching for it loads as it is long lasting and a bonus is it smells amazing! Check out my Summer Lip Picks post to see it swatched!

Morphe M510 Pro Round Blender Brush

This is what I’ve been using to apply my highlight recently as the fluffy brush creates a subtle yet defined highlight – it’s just the perfect size brush for this!

Benefit Ready Set Brow

A freebie in Elle magazine last month, this is a super hardcore brow gel – no brow hair is budging if you use this bad boy! Its amazing and I wish I could afford to buy the full size as it is hands down the best brow gel I’ve used!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Nude Foundation

Containing SPF 30 it’s no surprise this has been my go to foundation during the hot weather. It stays put for a long time and it blends really well using the Real Techniques sponge! As it is the Nude version it’s more lightweight than the original too.

What have you been loving this month? Did any of my faves make it into yours? Let me know below!

  1. That Morphe brush looks great – so fluffy!
I just tested a Rimmel foundation sample called Liquid Mousse and it’s quite nice. Have you tried that? I’ve not tried any Rimmel foundation but I’ve heard lots about the Lasting Finish one.

  3. So much summery gold gorgeousness Soph! Hearting all your July favourites, Fireball looks amazing, the fact that it’s pink, peach and shimmery = instant win right?! 😉 Flirt looks like the most blissful shade for the hotter months too. Ahh, loving it all! ❤

Congrats on getting your Masters lovely and how exciting about your move! Wishing you all the happiness in this fab new step ahead 😀
