Ok so I know I say this every. single. time. but seriously someone has messed with time cos’ it should not go this fast! September has literally flown by so quick I barely had time to blink!
Anyway, for me, favourite posts are a few days in the making as whenever I start to think about my favourites, I start off with one product then as the days go by and I go through my daily routine I always think of a good few to make a post as they pop up the most in my routine.
Left to right then top to bottom – LUSH Tea Tree Toner, Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, SEVENTEEN Mega Matte Lipstick in In The Buff, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Face Powder, Spectrum A01 Powder Brush, Forever 21 Black Velvet Choker.
LUSH Tea Tree Toner
I purchased this after hearing so many good things in the blogosphere and have been suffering from breakouts recently so had to give it a go. It’s a super refreshing toning spray which is great in the mornings as it really wakes you up. In terms of whether it’s helped my breakouts I’m not too sure, but it is definitely a good morning pick me up!
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
This little gem was purchased for my birthday night out (see what I got here) and my god I was so impressed! I’ve tried a couple of drug store setting sprays but none of them come close to the staying power of this. This is a mini version for £9 which isn’t bad if saved for occasions rather than everyday which I’ve had a couple of this month.
SEVENTEEN Mega Matte Lipstick in In The Buff
This is a lipstick I bought when Seventeen sent me some bright colours to try and I wanted some neutrals too. You can see my full post here. This is the colour I’ve been reaching for the most as it’s a lovely burgundy brown which is such an autumnal colour and it has a really creamy and soft formula.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Face Powder
I got this for my birthday (birthday haul post here) and this is honestly the prettiest powder I have ever laid my eyes on. And it is also the best powder I’ve ever used! It really blurs lines, mattifies the skin nicely and subtly and helps keep makeup in place. Definitely worth the money. If anyone knows of a dupe please let me know!
Spectrum A01 Powder Brush
This was sent to me by the lovely people at Spectrum to try as part of their 10 piece essentials set. Blog post of the full set to follow! I’ve been reaching for the powder brush the most this month. I won’t say too much before the main post but the bristles are super soft, it’s so pretty and applies powder really nicely.
Forever 21 Black Velvet Choker
Chokers are back! The 90s trend has taken over and it took me a while to jump on the bandwagon but now that I have I can’t get enough of chokers! I got about 4 from Forever 21 as they have a gorgeous range and they’re only about £3-4 each. I love these to accessorise bardot necks.
