I almost forgot to do a June favourites post because time has been going that damn fast!! It seems like yesterday we were at the beginning of June and now we are at the end?! How?! Can someone please tell me who is behind this sorcery!
June has been the hottest bloomin’ month here in the UK and to be honest I don’t think any of use have coped with it all too well.. we very very rarely have days where the heat is above 26 degrees and when it is we are not equipped to deal with it!
I can’t even remember what fun stuff I’ve been doing this month as it’s flown by that fast! Anywho, moving onto the products I’ve been loving this month..
First up, the warm weather has forced me to opt for a lighter lip and so I’ve been reaching for the Too Faced Sweet Peach Lip Oils a lot. They smell divine which is an added bonus and they are super lightweight and nourishing at the same time.
The peachy colours are the epitome of summer to me as you are probably already aware by now and I have really loved them, especially Pure Peach which is a lighter more nude peach colour.
I couldn’t survive the hot weather without a setting spray and the one and only holy grail choice has to be the Urban Decay All Nighter! It has serious staying power and 8-10 sprays of this goes a long way to help your makeup on days where you risk it melting off! I am yet to pick up the new packaging yet as I am waiting to finish this one but it won’t be long if the weather carries on like it has!
The Lee Stafford Coco Loco Heat Protection Mist reminds me of holidays with its coconutty scent and I adore it! It has a very wide ranging mist too and the packaging is to die for. Check out the full review here to find out more!
The sunshine has made me reach for my summer nail varnishes and I’ve been loving the Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paint in Aloha. You can read my full review here but in short it dries super quick and is so bright and shiny, perfect for summer!
Also, I’ve really been loving having lilies at the moment, the long stems and lovely green leaves are a gorgeous pop of colour in the home and the pretty huge flowers finish it off nicely.
What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below!
