A dreamy new perfume | Ghost Dream

Until recently with the launch of the new (at the time) perfume by Ghost, Sweetheart Forever, which soon became my new favourite scent, Ghost hadn’t really been at the forefront of the perfume scene.

Now they’re bringing out new releases left right and centre and really making themselves known again. Their latest release is called Dream*, housed in a beautiful blue prismatic bottle.

The bottle is stunning I love the prismatic shape and how it feels in my hand. The bottle is a mix of blue and clear glass which catches the light perfectly and it is left clear apart from Ghost logo is printed subtly at the bottom of the bottle in white.

The scent is described on the Boots website as

“captivating and enigmatic floral oriental scent created for young women who embrace their femininity and independence”

The notes of the scent are rose and Moroccan orange flower, a heart of jasmine and violet  which work together to make a sensual woody and patchouli scent.

Woody scents aren’t my personal preference as I prefer sweeter scents, (much like the Sweetheart Forever perfume) but I didn’t dislike the fragrance and found that it grew nicer over time after it had worn down on the skin.

The scent stays on the skin for a long time, as did the other Ghost perfumes I’ve tried, which is always a sign of a good perfume. There is nothing worse than spraying and not being able to smell it again!

Like the other Ghost Fragrances, this one is reasonably priced at £25 for 30ml from both Boots and Superdrug which makes it super affordable for all budgets.

I feel like Ghost are really trying to capture a younger audience and are doing so really well.

The variation of scents for different tastes,  beautiful bottles and inexpensive prices are just what younger markets are after.

Having said that, my Mum really liked this scent so I gave this to her as I prefer something a little sweeter, so I do think Ghost have captured all ages with their products.

Have you tried any of the new releases from Ghost? I’d love to know in the comments below!

Thank you so much for reading!
