The makeup by experts you need to try | CaBella Eyeshadow Palettes and Brush Sets

Let me start off by introducing CaBella –  an independent makeup boutique in Nottingham, run by three lovely and talented ladies who are expert MUAs.

Not only do they know how to apply makeup beautifully and well and make it last, they also have their own range of makeup available to buy on their website which ships all over the UK.

They have created their own eye shadow palettes, pigments and makeup brushes that they use every day on their clients, so that’s how you know it’s good!

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a brand ambassador for them and I can’t wait to show you what they have to offer!

MAKEUP BRUSHES

Let me start off with their makeup brushes – they have a variety of brush sets and individual brushes available, but the star of the show has to be the 12 Piece Makeup Brush Set.

12 Piece Brush Set by Cabella.jpg

You get 6 face brushes and 6 eye shadow brushes in the set for a fabulous price of £25.00.  Each brush has a sleek black and silver handle with black and white ombre brush, except for the fan brush which is an all black handle with white and black ombre brush.

  • CB55 Oval Fluff Shadow Brush
  • CB45 Deluxe Angled Liner / Brow Brush
  • CB52 Flat Foundation Brush

  • CB57 Round Foundation Buffer Brush
  • CB54 Bullet Cream Countour Brush
  • CB64 Kabuki Fan Highlight Brush

This is such a great value set as the foundation brush on it’s own is £10 so 12 for £25 is less than £2 per brush. You wouldn’t get that anywhere else!

The brushes are synthetic and are all super soft and hard wearing. The fan brush is my personal favourite and the star of the show for me it’s so fluffy and applies highlight beautifully.

Cabella Eye Shadow Brushes

They also sell sets of 12 eye shadow brushes for £12 which is good value as well but personally I think all you need is the 12 piece set and that sorts you out for both eyes and face.

EYESHADOW PALETTES

On to the eyeshadow palettes of which they have three to choose from – Desert Spice Palette, Spiced Berry Palette and the Peachy Keen Palette. I have the Desert Spice and the Spiced Berry palettes to show you. These palettes are Morphe inspired and put CaBella’s own spin onto the popular 35 shadow and 25 shadow palettes released by Morphe.

The Desert Spiced Palette contains 25 shadows including 17 matte and 8 shimmers in neutral and deep browns, golds, bronze, smokey blues and plum shades. This is my favourite out of the two as I just love the golden shimmer shades.

Cabella Desert Spice Palette

The Spiced Berry Palette is what I would describe as a more colourful version of Desert Spice, again with neutral browns but with added peach, pink, gold, bronze and purple shades, again in a mix of 17 mattes and 8 shimmers.

Cabella Spiced Berry Palett

Both palettes are £18.50 for 25 shades which is less than £1 per shade. The pans are large and generous – definitely a good value palette. You can also get both palettes in a bundle together for a discounted price of £30.00 for both.

The mattes are soft and the shimmer shades are so pigmented and buttery – both blend really nicely on the eyes.

I plan to do detailed look guides using both the Desert Spiced Palette and Spiced Berry Palette soon!

These are palettes are a great alternative to the popular Morphe offerings but designed by expert MUA’s who know what shades look good and stay put! Plus supporting a small business over a large company makes it a much nicer purchase!

PIGMENTS

CaBella have their own extensive range of pigments in a whopping 20 different shades! Each retailing at £5.00 you get 5ml of product in a cut acrylic pot.

They have every shade you could ever imagine from pink to purple, green to gold, silver to blue and everything in between.

The golden and silver shades can be doubled up for a popping pigmented highlight that glows from space! My favourite is the shade Groove, a beautiful cranberry pink.

Use with eyeshadow primer and the neutral shades from the Desert palettes and press onto the lid for seriously pigmented shimmer. The shimmer isn’t chunky or glittery just amazing colour pay off with a gorgeous shimmery undertone.

CaBella also sell every other product that they use on their clients on their website including Milani and LA Girl.
