I don’t think I’m ever going to get over how quickly the months go by and I say this every time but my has August flown! Me and the boy are all settled into our new home so we’ve been super busy sorting it all out this month whilst managing to fit in a couple of bbqs and a house warming party.
The end of August brings the end of Summer and the start of Autumn, not that we’ve had much summer this year! I hate when summer ends and the nights get longer, but it softens the blow a bit that September means my birthday month yay!
So here are the products I’ve been loving this August .
I have been lusting after a light box for so long and when I saw this on Lady Writes blog from New Look I went on a hunt to find it straight away! This is only £9.99 and it only has two lines and room for 5 letters per line, 6 tops, but it is definitely a bargain and worth having. It fits nicely into Instagram photos and I can imagine the bigger more expensive ones are too big to fit nicely into photos.
I used this in a recent post here and I lit it up for my house warming party saying “party time” and everyone loved it! (although within 1 hour it was re-arranged by mischievous boys who think they’re hilarious).
ESTEE LAUDER BRONZE GODDESS
It isn’t summer without Bronze Goddess – this is literally summer in a bottle it smells divine so I’ve been reaching for it a lot this past month.
MAKEUP REVOLUTION VIVID BAKED BLUSH IN BANG BANG YOU’RE DEAD
This little blush has a gorgeous subtle shimmer with a beautiful flush of pink which has been my go to blush lately as the shimmery colour is really summery.
MORPHE 12S SOULS OF SUMMER PALETTE
This has summer in the name so it’s only right that I’ve been using this more now than ever! The colours are gorgeous hues of copper bronze and orange with a smokey section thrown in and I’ve been loving the orangey shades this month. See my full review and swatches of this palette here.
PRIMARK SUPER MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK
I have been loving these liquid lipsticks from Primark they’re super super cheap at £2 each and are really comfortable and pigmented. Pictured is shade 01 Kim. See the full review and swatches of 3 of the colours here.
So that’s what I’ve been loving this month! Did any of your favourites make it into mine? Let me know below!
