Dominae Skincare | Brand Discovery

Dominae are a new British skincare brand on the market that use organic natural ingredients that are not tested on animals.

I love supporting companies in the UK so when I was sent these products to review I was excited to see how they faired.

I was sent the facial serum and the eye cream.

After using these for a good month and a bit now I think I’m safe to comment on their performance.

First up I absolutely love the modern simplistic design – the shiny silver against the white cream is super effective and the font really makes for attractive packaging.

The packaging allows for the entire contents of the product to be squeezed out which is rare as often you have to prize the pump off to get the last inch of cream out so this is a great aspect to the Dominae products.

The only qualm I have with it is that it actually pumps quite a lot out in one go meaning it is used up quicker. Perhaps this is a new start up hiccup and when more are produced the pumps will get better as it means the product lasts longer as you can pump out exactly what you need.

Eye Cream

This cream promises to reduce dark circles, puffy eyes and fine lines whilst containing SPF 25 to protect against sun damage.

This cream is great for anyone with sensitive skin or just sensitive around the eyes. It is non-perfumed and doesn’t sting at all around the delicate eye area, even if you get it in your eye (which I stupidly did, learn from my mistakes girls!) you can’t even feel it at all.

It has a fairly tightening affect around the eyes which I  look for in an eye cream as I like to know it’s working.

You can buy this from Amazon here for a great price of £13.99 and the tube lasted me just over a month.

Facial Serum

This is a Vitamin C serum that promises to repair cells and reduce fine lines and is advised to be used under moisturiser to amplify the anti-ageing process.

This has a fairly greasy formula at first but dries straight away and I feel like it left my skin moisturised which I find is good for a serum.

Again this is un-perfumed and I would say is fair on sensitive skin. I haven’t noticed a difference in my forehead fine lines yet but obviously this isn’t going to happen overnight.

This tube has lasted me nearly two months and still going so at £14.99 here this is great value.

I think Dominae have done a good job here it’s really tough to enter such a saturated market but I think they have done enough to differentiate themselves and really make a name for themselves and I can’t wait to see what else they produce.

Have you tried anything from Dominae yet? What did you think? Let me know below!
