Favourites of 2016

Happy New Year to my lovely readers! I wish you all every happiness and great health for the new year.

Thank you for all of your support over the past year and I can’t wait to see where my blog will go in 2017.

2016 has been the year of me trying new makeup, largely thanks for blogging. So I thought I would look back over my favourites from 2016. It was so hard to narrow it down so I chose quite a few of my stand out products of the last year. I hope you’re ready!

I think I’ll try and go from left to right so we have:

Cloud 9 Magic Blow Dry Potion

This has been a saviour for me as it protects the hair whilst making it silky smooth and best of all it saves on drying time and I have repurchased this multiple times!

Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick

2016 has been the year of liquid lipsticks  for me and this has to be one of the stand out brands.

Primark Rose Gold Oval Brush

Oval Brushes have been a saviour for me this year I am so glad I got into them as they make it super easy to contour whilst being so soft and I haven’t needed to look any further than Primark!

Benefit PoreFessional Primer

This is the go to product for me to make my makeup look flawless.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I’m so glad I found this this year as it really does set my makeup to last ages.

Maybelline Falsies Mascara

The mascara of 2016 for me as it’s an all rounder and a multiple repurchase.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

The best contour product for me that seems to last ages.

Sleek Rose Gold Blusher

This blusher is an all rounder and fits any season,  I’ve reached for it so much throughout the whole year.

Kat Von D Liner

A game changer for me and the only eye liner I’ve found I can get a straight line with!

LUSH Lip Scrub

A staple in my beauty routine I could not live without a lip scrub!

Morphe Eyeshadow Palette Souls of Summer

This has been the year of Morphe for me I purchased 4 Morphe palettes this year! The little 12s palette was my first and the most used until I got my hands on the 35O, 35F and 35T.

Barry M Molten Metals Nail Varnish

Barry M have killed it with their nail varnishes this year and have been the stand out brand for me over and over again, especially their shimmer polishes!

Rimmel Brow This Way Blonde Eyebrow Gel

I am so glad I found a drugstore alternative to Benefit Gimme Brow – this little guy is super cheap and so good my brows don’t feel right without brushing this over.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

My go to for applying foundation I wouldn’t have anything else in my makeup routine apart from this little affordable sponge!

So I hope you managed to stay with me through all of this, if you did I applaud you!

Have you loved any of these in 2016? I’d love to know below!

Really?! How odd! It must react differently to different skin types! Xx

Yeah my skin is pretty dry so I’m on the hunt for a hydrating one!
