Rosie for Autograph Makeup at Marks and Spencer Review

Rose gold makeup always gets a yes from me (as well as everyone in the blogosphere) and even more so when the entire collection is a rose gold dream. Rosie for Autograph at Marks and Spencer* hits that nail on the head with her makeup range. Model, actress and all round babe Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has created a gorgeous selection of makeup sold exclusively at Marks and Spencer and I was sent a fab selection of things to try and review from her range.

Rosie for Autograph Amazing Skin Secret Foundation

Starting with the base, the Skin Secret Foundation is a lightweight medium coverage foundation, formulated to be creamy and soft yet weightless and non-greasy. It has a great pump dispenser which is a must from me for foundations, on top of a beautiful frosted glass bottle.

Unfortunately the shade I chose is very dark for me (woops) so I haven’t tried it out properly as I didn’t fancy looking like an oompa loompa rn, but I tested a bit on my cheek with my beauty blender and it blended in seamlessly, and I can vouch for the medium coverage claim. It felt silky soft and lightweight, but I will do a more in-depth review in a couple of months when I’ve managed to get a bit of a tan in the warmer months! This costs £20.00 here* which is a good price for a luxe looking and feeling foundation. It’s also vegan and vegetarian.

Rosie for Autograph Amazing Skin Secret Concealer

This has a clear plastic tube and a rose gold lid which pulls off to reveal a slim pointed doe foot applicator, a shape that I’ve never before seen on a concealer. Again this was too dark for me despite it being number 1 which is the lightest available shade at light and medium, so I’ll wait until the summer to properly review this.

I gave it a little try and the formula is quite thin in consistency and I feel like it needs to be built up to cover anything up properly, but I will know more in a couple of months time! This costs £14.00 to buy here*.

Rosie for Autograph Bronzer

How beautiful is this packaging?! The shape of the product reminds me of a NARS blush, but with a mirrored rose gold finish. The 13g pan is huge and very generous and has the signature Rosie rose embossed into the powder and a big mirror in the lid. It really is a thing of beauty!

The colour I have is called “Magic Contour” which is a light, almost tanned powder. It’s a great option if you’re super pale and want a subtle contour and its great around the forehead and along the jaw. It also makes for a nice subtle bronze to the cheeks. This costs £18.00 to buy here*.

Rosie for Autograph Cream Blusher

The cream blusher is also in a rose gold mirror finish with a similar shape to the NARS blushers and a mirror in the lid. The cream blush feels soft and silky to touch and blends into the cheeks with a finger.

I don’t usually like cream blushers but this blended seamlessly for a subtle rosy glow to the cheeks. The colour, shade “Natures Blush” packs quite a punch so go in with a light hand. This costs £14.00 here* in a variety of shadwes.

Rosie for Autograph Starstruck Lip & Cheek Colour

This is a multi-use chubby stick that can be used for cheeks and lips. I have the shade “Rose” and it creates a very, very subtle colour when applied to the cheeks, so much so that you can barely see it. I did enjoy using this on my lips though as it creates a comfortable pink sheen when you just want a little bit of colour. This is £15.00 here*.

Rosie for Autograph Cream Eyeshadow Stick

This is a slim cream eyeshadow stick that applies a pigmented shimmer of colour onto the lids. I have the shade “Almond Eyes” which is a pretty champagne colour. It’s super easy to apply as it glides straight onto the lids, it’s perfect for a quick fix and you can carry it around to top up if need be.

I used it with a light brown shadow in the crease and it looked really nice. It lasts a long time and doesn’t really fade or crease. A fab Charlotte Tilbury dupe at only £12.50 in a few different shades here*.

Rosie for Autograph Lipstick

These gorgeous and sturdy rose gold tubes wind up to revel a lipstick bullet with a beautiful embossed rose. The formula is hydrating and comfortable with a semi-matte finish. These are my go to lipsticks for work because they last really well and you can’t tell it’s even on!

Rosie for Autograph at Marks and Spencer Makeup Review 20.jpeg

These are the shades “Rose Lace” which is more of a peachy nude and “Super Model Kiss” which is an orange toned red. They’re so pigmented and easy to apply as well. A huge thumbs up from me! These cost £14.00 each, shop them here*.

Rosie for Autograph Anniversary Palette

This palette is a selection of six eyeshadows, a cream blusher, a powder bronzer and a highlighter shade. It has some pretty shades in, and you could use the bronzer as a transition and crease shade to go with the colours and the highlighter for the inner corner as well.

Rosie for Autograph at Marks and Spencer Makeup Review 14.jpeg

It has black plastic packaging making it lightweight, with a huge mirror in the lid, and has the same kind of shape as the bronzer and blush I mentioned above and costs £25.00 here*.

Overall

Phew that was a long one! I hope you enjoyed this overview of what Rosie for Autograph Makeup at Marks and Spencer has to offer. The packaging is so luxe and feels sturdy, with decent mid range prices for quality makeup! Overall a big yes from me. Next I really want to try her Insta Glow Blush and her quad eyeshadow palettes, as they look gorgeous and are total Tilbury dupes!

I am obsessed with her packaging! I have a lipstick and a small eyeshadow palette and they are lovely!

I would have loved to have tried her base products, but by the sounds of it, the foundation and concealer would be too dark for me.

I am very tempted to try that bronzer though!

    Thanks for the review!

It’s funny that the base makeup is dark but her bronzer is great for pale skin! I think you can get paler foundations I just chose badly, but you can’t get a paler concealer unfortunately! thanks for reading lovely xo

What a gorgeous selection – I’ve only tried a few of the Rosie makeup range – it all looks so pretty and wearable. That contour looks like my kind of shade – I like that really subtle look that’s less of a ‘makeup like” contour and looks more natural and subtle.
One thing I do love is their shadow sticks – they’re a great dupe for the Bobbi Brown ones too!

Oh wow, your photos are amazing! Love how much detail you’ve put into this post! I haven’t tried this range yet as I assumed it would be quite ‘gimmicky’ but I might have to pick up one of the foundations and lipsticks to try 🙂

I love her product! Bought them during my trip to the UK in Christmas 2016 which felt like a long ago. You should try her Amazing Radiance Cream it makes a great moisturiser and excellent make up base. The eyeshadow quads are ‘okay’ for the price but I love using the mirror for most of my makeup application 🙂 If you’re interested to see what I thought please go check my post here: https://nyonyawhitfield.wordpress.com/2016/12/24/brands-for-thought-rosie-for-autograph/ 🙂
